Food Security Program Changes

IMPORTANT: On the week of May 31st, the NFN Food Security Program will start winding down and will only be available to seniors (aged 60+) on a weekly basis, and to Food Bank clients* every two weeks.

*If you are not a current Food Bank client and would like to see if you qualify, please call 705-498-0432 or read the Food Bank Policy to learn more about eligibility requirements.

Local residents in Garden Village and Sturgeon Falls who have access to a vehicle are asked to pick up their orders on Wednesdays if possible. This helps make the program more efficient by reducing the amount of deliveries needed. Please make arrangements for contactless pick-up when you order by calling/texting 705-498-0432 or email nfnfoodsecure@gmail.com. For those requesting a delivery, please ensure you are home to receive it.

Pick-ups are on Wednesday morning/early afternoon in Garden Village. You will receive a phone call when your order is ready.

Deliveries are on Wednesday in Garden Village, and on Thursday for all other communities.  Deliveries are made between 10am and 2pm.

Order Deadline & Form

The order deadline is Tuesday, June 2 at noon for curbside pick-ups on Wednesday, June 3, or for home deliveries on Wednesday, June 3 or Thursday, June 4. DOWNLOAD THE JUNE 3 & 4 ORDER FORM HERE.
